THE BRIEF: To celebrate the appointment of Camilla Henderson as an official South West Ten brand ambassador, and support the positioning of the luxury outerwear label as the go-to brand for racing fashion.
Aligning a brand with key influencers has become vital in achieving commercial success. The Bloxham PR team worked with South West Ten and their newly appointed brand ambassador Camilla Henderson, to choreograph an event which brought together the best of the racing fraternity – a key target demographic for the brand.
Guests arrived to Corse Lawn House in Gloucestershire to enjoy a champagne and canapés reception. With photos of famous racing personalities and winners adoring the walls of the charming country house, it provided the perfect setting to host the event. Guests were invited to listen to Channel 4 racing presenter Gina Harding in conversation with Camilla Henderson. The sartorially savvy pair talked through ‘what to wear’ at the races, giving their exclusive insight into what looks from the South West Ten collection paired perfectly for the season ahead, from The Open at Cheltenham to Royal Ascot. Next to join the esteemed panel was Gold Cup winning jockey turned trainer Sam Thomas who went through his top tips for the weekends racing.
This event not only enhanced the visibility of South West Tens relationship with Camilla Henderson and their association with the racing world, but facilitated editorial content for the brand within key target press including GL Weekend, Cotswold Allure and Cotswold Style, as well as multiple digital platforms, generating effective exposure amongst the most relevant circles.
